MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1967 film?

In the American Civil War, a human being accidentally kills his comrade. When, after the war, he returned to Abilene turns out that his former girlfriend is about to marry the brother of the Lord whom he killed. To pay your debt becomes sheriff. Fighting in the Civil War a man accidently kills his friend. Returning to Abilene after the war I acerca finds his former sweetheart to marry the brother of the man he killed. To pay his debt have not only Refuses to win her back but Takes the job of Sheriff, a job I have does not want, When the brother asks him. Still haunted by the killing have Refuses to carry a gun.
