MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1973 film?

An episode of the BBC's annual collection "Ghost Story for Christmas". Stephen, recently orphaned, is sent to live with his uncle alchemist in a remote mansion in the countryside. Here Stephen is haunted by ghosts horribly mutilated the two Gypsy children, who seem to want to warn you of the methods used by his uncle in an obsessive search for immortality. This movie is part of the Ghost Story for Christmas saga (1971, 1972, 1973, 1974, 1975, 1976).
