MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2010 film?

Hidden behind the brand new ballpark of the New York Mets survives the neighborhood of Willets Point, an industrial area about to be demolished. Without any urban planning, no sidewalks, no pavement, no sewer system, the place looks prepared for future urban development. But the film finds us a place full of life, a community living around the dismantling, recovery and reuse of what no longer interests the corporation. The cars are chopped and categorized according to brands and components to be subsequently resold to a large number of customers or in the worst weather conditions keep coming to Willets Point. But more fascinating than trade is the list of characters that inhabit the place. Joe, the only one who grew up in the neighborhood, moves between impotence and rage through the streets like a King Lear lost it were, trying to avoid the inevitable: his imminent eviction. A couple, Sara and Luis, survive in a van abandoned during the harsh winter trying to get some money to eat. Julia, Queen of the junkyard, projects its positivism forgotten between this team ? Foreign Parts observes and captures the struggle of a neighborhood for survival of the unstoppable capitalization urban area of New York.
