MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1985 film?

Until last week, Fletch was just one of those friendly reporters fighting for truth, justice and an office with a window. But things change when you go through segescapar track junkie for some dealers. That's when Stanwyk know who has bone cancer and asks him to kill his wife to collect the insurance. Stanwyk has organized the perfect crime: faked robbery, a Jaguar and a ticket to escape first to Rio, But there is something that smells fishy. While trying to uncover the truth disguised in a thousand ways, Fletch is threatened, shot, indictments and arrest. And that just wanted to help !
