MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

In the mythical country of El Dorado cities are gold and men cover their bodies with golden vestments. Is the story of Pedro de Ursua, the attractive young captain of the expedition, winner of the Maroons of Paraná. Is the story of Lope de Aguirre, a Basque with delusions of grandeur who joined the expedition of Ursua to find what had been found in his life: peace. Is the story of Elvira, daughter of Lope, the story of Dona Ines de Atienza, the beautiful wife of Peru ; the history of Indian Uiracuru, expedition guide. It is the story of 300 men who pawned their estates and their souls on the descent of the largest river in the world and ignored.
