MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1994 film?

Dr. Otto Skrodt is a former citizen of the Republic of East Germany that is about to become a prominent politician in Bonn, where his old friend Karl aaparenta to ask for financial help. Karl had been imprisoned because of a complaint from Otto, who believes that Karl has discovered and will blackmail him for that.
