MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2006 film?

France, the eighteenth century. Adaptation of the famous bestseller by Patrick Süskind. Jean Baptiste Grenouille was born amidst the stench of fish remains from a market and was abandoned by his mother in the trash. The authorities took charge of him and sent him to a hospice. He grew up in a hostile environment, no one wanted, because there was something exceptional scent completely lacking. He was, however, equipped with an extraordinary sense of smell. At twenty years later to work in a tannery, got a job in house perfumer Bandini, who taught him to distill essences. But he was obsessed with the idea of catching other smells: the smell of glass, copper, but, above all, the smell of some women.
