MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1999 film?

The people of Whitby are orgullosísimos of the exploits of his fellow citizen Captain Cook, all but Jack Lumminan, captain of a small pleasure boat, in which he recounts, day after day, the exploits of another local: Captain Scoresby. To honor his memory, undertake, accompanied by five people, an expedition to the Arctic in order to find the island of Jan Mayne, which Scoresby over a year lived isolated from the rest of the planet.
