MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1992 film?

At the University of Chicago, Helen Lyle student investigates the legend surrounding the Candyman, a ghost with a hook for a hand that aaparenta every time his name is pronounced five times before a mirror. A purpose of the research of Helen, a teacher explains the historical basis of the legend and superstitions that surround: apparently, Candyman is the vengeful spirit of a slave who was maimed by a mob which accused crazed raping a lady white. When Helen decides to repeat the Candyman's name five times, sets in motion a series of supernatural events inevitable, culminating in gruesome massacres in which she herself who holds the murder weapon. This movie is part of the Candyman trilogy (1992, 1995, 1999).
