MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1978 film?

July 13, 1977, New York. Without knowing how or why, cut the power to the city and is a power outage overnight. Taking advantage of the chaos, violations occur, attacks and robberies. Police try to control the situation with great courage. A remake called Blackout (2007) was made based on this movie.
