MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2001 film?

Baran is the story of Afghan refugees told through the eyes of Lateef, an Iranian teenager. As he and other Iranian fight to carry out a meeting, Afghan refugees can barely survive because they can not work legally. Lateef, with a big heart but a rogue, works as a doorman at a building, providing tea and food to Afghan workers who work illegally low wages. The chief, a human friendly but frugal called Memar, Lateef pays a small weekly wage part and retains the rest of his salary saying it is for their own good. Where an Afghan worker, Najaf, suffers a fall in construction, can not tell the authorities where or how it was injured because of their state of illegal worker. This incident threatens labor positions worldwide.
