MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

In the early '90s, the British authorities create a rehabilitation program in which prisoners can serve their sentences working on humanitarian missions. One of the prisoners convicted of misdemeanors, Gerry Brutecki, is sent to an orphanage in Romania led by an alcoholic doctor and a nurse. Brute discover the terrible conditions in which children live. The presence of Mara, the nurse, and strength of spirit, will help you cope with your stay in hell.
