MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2013 film?

Based on a true story happened in 1850, tells the story of Solomon Northup, a cult musician black - and free man who lived with his family in New York. After sharing a drink with two strangers, Solomon discovers that he has been drugged and kidnapped to be sold into slavery in the South on a plantation in Louisiana. Renouncing abandon hope, Solomon watches as everyone around him succumb to violence, emotional abuse and hopelessness. So take incredible risks and decides to trust people less apparent to regain his freedom and be reunited with his family.
