MOVIE SYNOPSIS: You can watch A tér, full movie on FULLTV - Still democracies have the square as a flagship space for community struggles and resistance, but also to continue building the history and national identity from the public space. This documentary is born of a converted image in a disputed territory: the view of the square of Budapest from the shop window Gyarmathy Livia begins to transform into a region of conflicts from 2005, when the government decided to build a monument Jews, soldiers and civilians who died in the Second World War. The image chosen for the monument is the bird Turul, a creature of the Hungarian mythology that is still controversy over its various symbolic dimensions. The look of Gyarmathy achieved restore the square as a place where the past and present again play an ideological struggle for freedom of expression, but also where the conflicts that broke the last century still latent. You are able to watch A tér online, download or rent it as well on video-on-demand services (Netflix), pay-TV or movie theaters with original audio in Hungarian.
