MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

A well educated and cultured young Brit, living in New York, working as an expert in art in a local gallery. When asked to also buy a Matisse painting a rather eccentric family living in a village of Atlanta, will face all kinds of difficulties.
