MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

Ireland, 1979. Frank and Gerard, two young terrorists are arrested and tried Frank is sentenced to life imprisonment, and Gerard to twelve years. They and three hundred companions, refuse to wear the prescribed uniform, because they are considered prisoners of war. After some fighting, you come to an agreement: the terrorists, as demanded, may wear street clothes, but the government also granted that privilege to the common prisoners, so the conflict is reborn. Outside the prison, the mother of Gerard, before against any kind of violence, is getting closer and closer to the position of his new friend, the mother of Frank, a radical nationalist. Based on a true story.
