MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?
This is the legend of a lady " and also common ordinary" even born in 1902: Maria de los Reyes Castillo, Reyita. A lady carrying a story that had gone unnoticed even, briefly, his family, if his daughter Daisy had not rescued in a book. Through its pages and vivid memories of their families, the documentary offers a journey through a life that discovers the value of the everyday. Reyita was a black woman, humble, a victim of racial discrimination from childhood, but then he learned to rebel against the fate that imposed its time. He saw stability in their marriage, but her husband soon became a sort of antagonist who had to oppose to realize your dreams and your family. Dodging her husband, Reyita helped other women, many of them prostitutes, to care for his creatures, was active in the Socialist Party, shared the ideals of their children guerrillas and small battles fought everyday to change the world and not just their house.
