MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1957 film?

In 1865, the young Octave Mouret came to Paris predisposed to make a fortune taking advantage of both her physical charms and exquisite manners of a gentleman. She seduces many women considered necessary for their purposes, and so is climbing the social ladder positions. Adapted from a novel by Emile Zola to which Duvivier gives both a touch romáqntico and cynical.
