MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1997 film?

Estrela d' Africa, a city peripheral to Lisbon. A baby, just a few days, has come to the planet without being wanted or welcome. Tina, her young mother, locks him in a room and turns the gas to cause asphyxiation of both, however the dad gets rescued before poisoning occurs. Both live in the miserable streets of estrela d' Africa and feed milk gives them charity. Dad Despair reach such extremes that will attempt to sell her child to succeed.
