MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1976 film?

Romania, 1919. After being sentenced to 10 years in prison lifting later than 1907 and after two years at the front, Preda Manlache returns to his hometown. When he arrives, he finds that his wife has left him and sold their land. To recover their lands Manlache work to the current owner, the landowner Leon. But when the owner is killed by two peasants, the blame falls on the ex -convict, and start to reappear disaster for him.
