MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 2008 film?
Two Malaysian siblings, Rohani and Rohana, try to escape from your home to escape their wealthy dad's mistreatment. They find refuge in a little town in which they get to know Brian Goh, a Catholic schoolteacher. Brian is irresistibly drawn to the two girls. Impressed by their extraordinary courage in the face of adversity, their relationship forces him to confront the ghosts of his own youth. Director Yasmin Ahmad explores the options of emotional success after being traumatised by loved ones. Through wanderings of three lost souls whom band together and console each other, Muallaf celebrates relationship, forgiveness, and the arriving at terms with the past.
