MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1991 film?

A conductor is hired to direct in Paris Wagner's opera " Tannhauser ". However, when it comes to the French capital, encountering all manner of obstacles to perform their work: sometimes due to the demands of unions and others because of the whims of some singers. Thus, his first encounter with the diva's frustrating, but end up living a passionate love story.
