MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1949 film?

The village of Saint Sévère is preparing to celebrate a great party. The streets are decorated with garlands and flags, the cafe terrace is ready for the big dance popular. The carnies bring in their wagons wooden horses, the bazaars, the movie theater, the cucañas, while delivering mail, François, the postman, eager to help the fairground, rides with much heroism the greasy pole, but only succeeds cause disasters. In the documentary that screened in the cinema tent, François sees a new system to deliver mail and decide to try it. The next morning, when the people wake up after the party, the postman delivers your mail "American ".
