MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1953 film?

WWII. In the last months of the war no choice but to mobilize more than 200 secondary school girls Okinawa to work as military nurses. The girls will be involved in the Battle of Okinawa, one of the fiercest and bloodiest of the Pacific. Known as "Body Himeyuri ", they will be ordered to join the medical units where wounded soldiers are treated. With the increasing American force present and a low number of growing medical units will be forced to move to caves. After three months of intense fighting, the Americans finally break the last lines of defense and the Japanese military saw the need to dissolve the unit Himeyuri, being fully exposed girls against enemy artillery.
