MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1998 film?

Eric is a boy of about 17 who lives in Sandusky, Ohio. It is mid -80s, and in the charts Boy George and Eurithmics succeed. Follow his longtime girlfriend, Maggie, even though things begin to change in him when a job in a restaurant local amusement park. There he meets a boy named Rod. What begins as friendship become something more, which will move away from Maggie and their parents. Eric and begin to discover a new world which is perhaps his.
