MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1996 film?

30s Abel Tiffauges is a naive and introverted man who identifies more with children than with adults. Although he grew up in a French orphanage, he was always convinced that a great destiny awaited him. He works as a mechanic in the outskirts of Paris and only relates to children, animals and marginalized. Suspected of attempted sexual assault of a child, the outbreak of World War II saves him from jail. On the front, is captured by the Nazis and taken to Prussia. Seduced by the power and the Nazi aesthetic, lives his conviction as a liberation. Field Marshal Hermann Göring take it at your service to accompany you on the hunt, but the battle of Stalingrad ends this stage of his life. You will then stop at the Citadel of Kaltenborn, where 400 young people are trained to be part of the elite of the Reich.
