MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1987 film?

At home, the bishop receives a copy of the novel " Budawanny: The story of a bishop " by Thomas Connor, with a letter in his lapel saying that now have made a great movie. The bishop thinks he has no need to read the book because, for him, history is older than Methuselah. Marian, a young lady, is the housekeeper of a parish. It is the priest's lover and becomes pregnant. During the Mass, the priest announces that there will soon be another reason for them to call you Father and that his intention is to take care of women and children. His bishop finds out and calls the cure. Criticized for making such a statement from the pulpit and the priest refutes saying that Christ had done the same. Marian leaves the island.
