MOVIE SYNOPSIS - Where can I watch it and what's the story of this 1988 film?

One summer day in 1957, on a beach in Atlantic City, was born a close friendship between two girls belonging to radically different worlds: the cheeky and mischievous CC Bloom and refined " good girl " Hillary Whitney. Although followed different paths, their friendship grew stronger over the years. Shared hopes, dreams and frustrations, and loyalty kept them together above their marriages and careers, triumphs and disappointments and, above all, despite a crisis that tested that loyalty.
